DMCA Notice & Takedown Policy
17 U.S.C. § 512 · Effective June 7, 2026

Exit Stage is an online service provider under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA"), 17 U.S.C. § 512. We register a Designated Agent with the U.S. Copyright Office, respond expeditiously to properly-formed notices of claimed infringement, honor counter-notices, and terminate the accounts of repeat infringers under the policy below.

What a Notice Must Include
- Physical or electronic signature of the owner or authorized agent;
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed;
- Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, with information sufficient to locate it on the Platform;
- Your contact information (address, telephone, email);
- A good-faith statement that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, agent, or the law;
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner.
Counter-Notice
If material you posted has been removed, you may file a counter-notice that satisfies 17 U.S.C. § 512(g)(3). Material may be restored 10–14 business days after a complete counter-notice, unless the original claimant files a court action.
Repeat Infringer Policy
Account holders who receive multiple unresolved notices in a rolling twelve-month period may have their accounts suspended or terminated. Exit Stage reserves the right to terminate at any earlier point in appropriate circumstances.
Misrepresentations
Knowingly false notices or counter-notices may subject you to liability for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees, under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f).
